I lived in Somerset Road in 1960-61 and attended Reigate Grammar School 6th form. Our house was the first tall one up the hill on the RHS in the picture. Have fond memories of the garage at the bottom where I collected paraffin for our stoves from Sandy on a Saturday morning. Took Sandy to see Kenny Ball in his heyday in Redhill..... Comment 2

Brings back good memories of when I was in a foster home, Blackthorn Road, Meadvale, between 1961 and 1970, such happy times. Went back there a couple of years back, not one shop left, so sad |
